Broadcast (Rete Rossa)
A production by Otto Erhardt
Furtwängler conducted three complete Ring cycles at the Scala in 1950. Two of them were recorded by RAI for broadcast. The one broadcasted by Rete Azzura were discovered in 1983 and is complete. From the Rete Rossa broadcast only Götterdämmerung and the end of Siegfried seem to have survived.
