There are actually two different Tannhäuser recordings from the Bayreuth festival 1962. This one is the live broadcast. The Philips recording from the same year is a live compilation featuring Anja Silja instead of Victoria de los Ángeles as Elisabeth otherwise the cast is the same. The Philips recording is in stereo, this one is mono.
