A production by Herbert von Karajan (1968)
Josephine Veasey cancelled and was replaced as Fricka by Anna Reynolds, who was already scheduled to sing Flosshilde. Reynolds sang both parts, but in Scene 4, when Fricka must be onstage as the voices of the Rhinemaidens are heard wailing under the Rainbow Bridge, she was replaced as Flosshilde by Shirley Love [Met archive].
